Author Visit

Author and songwriter Craig Smith came and visited us in the Library! We sang  hilarious songs from his books like Wonky Donkey, My Daddy Ate an Apple, Willbee the Bumblebee and lots of others! He was super funny and we loved his hand puppets! Mrs La Fauci even pretended to be a monkey!
It was a fantastic afternoon together!

The Olympic Rings

We have been learning about Cultural Diversity in Inquiry this term. We understand that it is important to appreciate different cultures so everybody feels accepted! The Olympic Rings are 5 hoops all connected to one another. This represents different countries coming together and accepting one another. We all worked together in our Inquiry class to make the Olympic Rings.

Working Cooperatively Together

This term, our learning intention for Wellbeing is 'We are learning to work cooperatively together'. We know that to work cooperatively we need to work as a team! Below is an activity we did where we had to work as a team with assigned roles. We were either a 'Builder', 'Collector', 'Supervisor' or 'Writer'.  It was challenging to stay in our assigned roles but we really learnt how important it is to work cooperatively as a team!
