Scientist Tim

A real life Scientist visited us today! Chiza's Dad Tim works as a Chemist in a Chemistry Lab! He did some exciting experiments in front of us and we saw lots of changes! We saw some reversible changes. Liquids changed from clear, to a colour, and then back to clear, from different chemicals.

How can water change?

We learnt about how water can change from a solid, to a liquid and to a gas! We hypothesised (predicted) about what would happen to the water if we boiled it. We were correct, it turned into steam!

What changes can we see around us?

We explored the seasonal changes we can see around us! Leaves change colour and fall off the trees when it's Autumn! 

Father John visit

Last Friday Father John visited our Year 1/2 community. We had the chance to ask him lots of questions and share with him our learning about God.

Pentecost

Today the year 1/2 students explored where they have felt the Holy Spirit in their lives through artistic reflection.
